You know sometimes I think the commercialization of the web has taken a lot of the spark out of things. As soon as money can be made the cooperation siphon off all the talent for rap videos or movie promotions. A couple of years ago people were doing amazing things with flash. Now… well I haven’t found anything that made me go wow in the last couple of years.
But looking back there was some fun stuff:
CCC: Vinnie Veritas was with out a doubt a master of animation. Evocative and interesting stories without the use of words. He hasn’t done anything in a while but man his stuff was great. I would suggest “Days after those days”. Not his smoothest animation but man I have had days I felt like that

http://www.tedionline.com/Floating Hands: Last but certainly not least were the animation by Matt Gardner, one of the foremost comic genius of our time. The animation is not great but the jokes had me rolling in on the floor.
